The History of Kevin and Jennifer
Here is a story that is all too familiar for most, but we will share it again for the sake of posterity...
Kevin and Jen met their sophomore year of high school. It was hardly love at first sight. Kevin found Jen to be loud and annoying. Jen described Kevin and being "boringer than brown carpet." In spite of these feelings towards each other, Kevin and Jen had too many mutual friends to simply ignore one another. Over time they learned to appreciate the finer qualities in each another and ultimately reached a point where they realized that they were friends. They were no longer two people forced to miserably tolerate the company of the other.
Well, y'all know what happened next... friendship turned into more and Kevin and Jen began dating their junior year of high school. After four years of dating, Kevin proposed to Jen on February 16, 2002. They married on March 15, 2003 with a ceremony at Calvary Chapel Menifee, and a reception at Menifee Lake Country Club. Those in attendance will remember it as the rainiest day in California history!
There have been a lot of big events since their marriage. They both graduated from California Baptist University in May, 2005 with their Bachelor of Art in Business Administration. That same weekend they were able to move into the new town home they had purchased in Murrieta. All of these events were ultimately part of a larger plan that has led to this point... having what they believed would be their first child, only to discover that they would be having their first children...and so begins a new chapter in the life of Kevin and Jen.
It would be pointless to give an account of Kevin and Jen's relationship without pointing out that every piece of their relationship was masterfully put together by a Sovereign God! It is only by His grace that they are able to live the life that they have!
